Today I share Dr. Gary Goforth’s (http://www.garygoforth.net/Other%20projects.htm) comments to the Army Corp of Engineers’ LOSOM scoping process that occurred on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, in Stuart: (https://www.saj.usace.army.mil/LOSOM/). Dr Goforth’s comments are helpful for all of us. I am publishing them today with his permission as a reference. You can read in PDF file link, or below. Thank you Dr Goforth for your continued scientific advocacy on behalf on the St Lucie River/Indian River Lagoon! Never, Never, Never Give Up!

I don’t know how the Army Corps of Engineers can continue to ignore such expertise that is in these comments to them. So many experts have written to them and made comments, that I hope they will take the opportunity to answer these serious questions and begin to solve the problems of our troubled waterways.
Congratulations on your appointment to the SFWMB!! Judith Watt

Congratulations Jacqui to the board of SFWM
At our lagoon house over a year ago a briliant scientist named Duane Defreeze said he had met with the scientest with the South Florida Water Management and they had things so complicated that even he had a hard time understanding it. When they fired the people at S.F.W.M. they were just the outer layer of government apointed people. To get at the problem you have to dig deeper to the scientest who advised these people and then the core of the problem which is politicians being bank rolled by special interest groups that pay these scientest huge sums of money to come up with their data. Duane Defreeze has since been given a 100,000 dollar a year job by our corrupt county commissioner—Curt Smith.
